Welcome to Tempo Dance Academy, located in the North Nanaimo area, on the top floor of the Applecross Business Centre. We are a busy and energetic dance school with a qualified faculty of teachers and a full complement of classes. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Pointe. We have something to offer for all students ages three and up, including Adult classes in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz.
We have a beautiful Academy with outstanding facilities, which include four studios, each with a special dance floor and full length mirrors, girls and boys washrooms, parent waiting area, and a special change room and waiting area for the dancers. The Academy is bright, clean, and comfortable. We are a proud dance schoool with an outstanding faculty, hard-working caring students, and enthusiastic supportive parents.
Our aims and objectives are to provide the students of all ages and levels of experience an education in the performing arts by offering students the training needed in a varied and meticulous manner. We strive to give students the opportunity to perform and enhance their performing ability and, in doing so, instill a sence of self-discipline, pride, accomplishment, and understanding for the performing arts.
