Welcome to Tempo Dance Academy! Proud to be serving the Nanaimo community for fifteen years. Classes are offered in Ballet, Pre-Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Pointe, Modern, & Musical Theatre for all ages 3 to Adults. Located in the North Nanaimo area, on the top flor of the Applecross Business Centre.

Each year, we on the teaching staff look forward to developing your child's love of dance. Whether he or she is dancing for recreation and pleasure or pursuing a performing or teaching career, each student possesses unique talent and ability - precious gifts for us to develop.We look forward to working with your and your children.

Looking Ahead
We look forward to our teachers returning in the fall including Ms Kirsten who is currently on maternity leave. Congratulations to Ms Candice who will be graduating from the Teacher's program with the Royal Academy of Dance. We are proud of her achievements on becoming a certified Ballet Teacher. We are also excited to announce our new Musical Theatre program which will commence in September. More information on these classes will be available during registration weeks.

Used Dance Wear
Used dance wear items can be brought into the studio during registration weeks in August and September. Mary Jane Kent will be taking on these items for consignment. Please be sure to bring in your items that you wish to sell - cleaned, priced and with your name and telephone number on all of the items.

Photos
All videos and pictures will be available during the September registration for you to pick up. If you miss the opportunity to pick these items up, they will be handed out to students during the first week of dance classes in the fall. Otherwise, please call the office to make other arrangements.
